The name CAMPO ABERTO - emerged from the desire of its directors who wanted to create a broadcaster where the space was always open to all segments of regional society, providing conditions for everyone to expose their opinions and ideas. It was in this way that “CAMPO ABERTO” appeared, and each year it has been growing in large steps and stands out as the means of communication, service provider and opinion maker. In September 1996 Rádio Campo Aberto started to operate on the frequency, 1020Khz , conquering an even bigger space with professional responsibility and ethics. The fully computerized company works from 5 am to 11 pm with a program geared to the interests of the regional population, and whose principle is to honor the ethics of broadcasting.
It was a pioneer in the region in the transmission system on the world network, internet, where the reach has no geographical borders.
In 2013, together with the other broadcasters in Brazil, he began to dream of migrating to the FM Modulated Frequency system. In 2017, more precisely on June 5 in the state capital, Curitiba, the amendment term for migration from Radio Campo Aberto AM to FM was signed.
